Of course according to each area and size of property monthly bills will slightly differ, it also depends on how often the property is occupied and during which months however on average for an apartment of around 80m2-90m2 utilities usually come out to approximately 90€. The cost of utilities for a house is generally slightly higher.
Water & Electricity
As in most other countries, water and electricity is paid according to the meter, the electricity rates going from a flat 4.49€c/kWh to 5.53€c/kWh depending on which tariff and time of the day the electricity is being used
Maintenance
The maintenance fees again depend on the size of the apartment building and the town but they generally cost around €1-2/m² per month which can include; security, concierge service, the cleaning and general upkeep of the hallways, lifts, main entrance etc.
Garbage removal
The garbage removal fee is approximately 6-9 cents/m² of living area monthly.
TV & Internet
There are not many internet providers in Montenegro and the infrastructure for this here is still developing; for instance there are a few WIFI outages when it rains sometimes and in certain areas if there is thunder/lightning there can be complete black outs however each provider has their own packages that in general start from around 25€-40€ a month. Both satellite and cable TV are available although satellite is a slightly lower cost.
